Covid – face masks

While Covid restrictions will end in many settings in England from Monday, NHSE has released a statement reminding the public that everyone accessing or visiting all healthcare settings, including GP practices, must continue to wear a face covering and follow social distancing rules, in line with current infection prevention control guidelines. SEL CCG fully supports this approach as it will help protect our staff and patients, particularly those who may be more vulnerable to infections.

People are not required to supply a medical certificate or doctor’s note to confirm they are exempt from wearing a face mask, but can self-certify.  Therefore any requests for such note will usually be refused.  Please copy and past the link above for further advice/information.
